VSlice – A Unique and Powerful Stacuity Network Capability
A VSlice is the starting point to the customisation of your network. This is a fundamental feature across all our services, providing all the flexibility and security of private APNs, without the complexity.
This feature allows customers to segregate their estate of devices into logical networks. Each VSlice is isolated from all others and so serves as a security boundary which you can control. If you are familiar with public cloud environments, this is similar to a VPC (AWS) or a VNet (Azure).
You might create a VSlice for each project, site, team or environment – whatever makes sense for your application.
