What is Remote Access Proxy?
Remote Access Proxy (RAP) is a Stacuity feature that exposes a single device, or a whole network of devices behind one router, through a controlled proxy layer. Instead of assigning a public IP address to reach a device over the internet, each endpoint gets a unique, secure route in. The device stays reachable. It never sits on the open internet.
A single router with a Stacuity SIM can become a gateway to every other device on its network, whether that’s IP cameras, IP phones, sensors or industrial control systems. Full visibility of everything connected, all through one device, with nothing exposed publicly.
