So, we also believe in the idea of Private Mobile Networks

In fact, we believe that private network-style levels of control should be available to all customers using mobile connectivity, regardless of their scale, budgets or level of telecoms technology expertise.

What are we doing about it though?

Today: 

Private network-style control delivered over public mobile networks

Using the Stacuity platform, customers can create “VSlices”, virtual private networks for their SIMs. These VSlices are under the customer’s self-serve control. Unlike a physical Private Mobile Network, there are no set-up costs and no radio network to manage. Also, no private APN is required – saving time/money upfront and removing the hassle of device updates later, if configurations need to change. Instead, enterprises just get to manage their connected devices on their own private slice of the global public mobile ecosystem, from 2G to 5G NSA, starting with just one SIM.

Growing global edge network with software-defined private connectivity between locations

Our growing global network of Edge locations enables customers to route data traffic dynamically, per SIM, to suit performance, cost and regulation requirements.  This traffic travels over private/secure virtual networks, which the customer controls.  Traffic need never touch the Internet.  Where they are required, new customer-specific Edge locations can be delivered quickly and cheaply.

Coming soon:

Private mobile core Network-as-a-Service, with seamless extension onto public mobile networks

We are working with System Integrator and hardware partners to extend our mobile core network-as-a-service proposition, to support private 5G NSA deployments. This will be an exciting development for us and our partners. It will enable us to offer a seamless service across private and public networks. By white-labelling our multi-tenant platform, our partners will be able to use our software-defined mobile core network to support multiple customer deployments.
