A highly experienced developer, we’re delighted to have Jeremy as part of our boundary breaking team. Hear from Jeremy as he discusses his career to date, his passion for the industry and his new role at Stacuity.
Tell us about your career to date?
“I’ve been passionate about software development for as long as I can remember. Ask anyone who knew me in high school, and they’ll tell you I was always coding something—whether it was various websites, trading bots, creating add-on content for gaming servers, or developing open source tools on GitHub. This passion led me to pursue a degree in computer science, which provided a strong foundation for my career.”
“I started my career at a Bitcoin exchange startup on the Isle of Man. There, I worked on internal platforms, the customer-facing site and even the official Bitcoin client. Working at a startup was a valuable experience that taught me the importance of agility and innovation.”
“I then wanted to expand my skills and take on more enterprise-level and demanding software projects, which led me to move to an MNO on the island where I’ve spent the last three years.”
“This role has been transformative for me, immersing me in the telecoms industry and exposing me to a wide range of projects. I have worked on developing critical core systems, improving internal platforms/products, and creating new customer-facing applications. All these experiences have equipped me with the skills and knowledge I need to hit the ground running at Stacuity. I’m really excited about what lies ahead!”
