A warm welcome to Heidi Emery, who joins Stacuity as Finance Administrator.

With over two decades of experience, her varied background in finance, HR, and high-level compliance will be an asset to our growing team.

Q: Tell us about your career to date

A: “My career in accounts started while working for a Ford car main dealer, where I was employed as a stock controller but migrated to the accounts department due to their increased workload. Over the next seventeen years, I gleaned experience working for a quarry and construction companies. Due to the increased requirement within this industry for health and safety compliance, I also successfully attained premium accreditation for the companies with CHAS, ISO 18001, and Constructionline, enabling them to progress into larger contracts within the UK.”

“I relocated to the Isle of Man in March 2016 and worked for nine years as a bookkeeper for an organisation who built and ran care homes in the UK. This role was extremely varied and challenging, as we had between three and four locations under construction simultaneously. As I have a degree in HR and business management, my role extended in 2023 to include HR; this was due to the employment of overseas workers.”

Q: Why did you choose to join Stacuity?

A: “As my previous employment had mainly been within the construction industry, I was looking for a different direction. The appeal of having the opportunity to join the team at Stacuity is that it is a relatively new company, and with the innovation of its product, I feel that it will have a successful and exciting future.”

Q: What will you be doing at Stacuity and what impact do you hope to have?

A: “As Finance Administrator, it will be my responsibility to process and reconcile accounting records to produce financial reports in a timely manner.”

Q: What are you most looking forward to?

A: “I’m looking forward to learning more about the product and becoming part of a team and company with an exciting future.”
